Gain Confidence by Practicing Self-Love

recorded this video right after a yoga practice :)  In the hope that I may spread more seeds of love and growth among others, I've decided to start this little project called Q&A Friday. Every Friday, I'll post a V-blog of myself answering questions that I received from blog readers, friends, followers on Facebook & Instagram.

I'll share my stories, thoughts, and advices on any aspects of growing our body-mind-soul so that we can unleash our full potentials - like the oak tree bursting out of the seed - and live an incredible human life.

This is the first one in the series: "I've never felt confident about myself. What is your advice?"

In summary:

  1. Know that it is Okay to feel this way. Fear is a universal human feeling. (see how I started this video admitting that I wasn't totally confident about the whole video thing? )
  2. Breathe. Detach yourself from this feeling. Replace the phrase "I am not confident" by "I am experiencing a feeling of not confident." So that you can observe it and may begin to dissolve it.
  3. A practice: Watch your inner dialog. How are you talking to yourself? Are you kind to yourself? Or are you constantly beating yourself up with blame, shame, guilt? Replace all the unkind self-talk with loving talk.
  4. Self-love is the answer. (this is my truth, may not be yours. but try it out and see for yourself.)

Apply this practice for a couple of days and let me know how you feel by comment below or video respond.
